Again, the Akademi Fantasia or better known as AF has come.. Now it is time for Akademi Fantasia 8 (AF8).. The most successful ‘reality show’ (at least may people said it) has already began. No doubt that the quality of siging will be the main criteria, but other ‘plus’ like good looking will be in consideration to vote them. Well, here are the list of the participant for AF8:

Akademi Fantasia fanatics have to wait no longer about who is the principal. The puzzle is no more, as it is official that Norman KRU will be the Principal for the Akademi Fantasia 8. MAK believe that Norman will do well in his new assignment. Despite of that, there is another surprise of who will host the AF8. Yes, AF8 will be hosted by a couple, instead of a single host like previous AF, and the couple choosen are Sarimah & Jimmy Shanley. Both of them will conduct the Live Concert on Saturday. In additional, Jimmy will host Diari AF8 and Sarimah will host Debaran AF8.

New format will be revealed, with the dismissal will only be the next day, which is Sunday during the Debaran AF8. This will enable fans to have more time to vote their beloved contestant(s).

New teacher will be introduced, Que Haidar as the Drama Coach.

The first concert is believed to be on the 13 March.

After achieved suceess in AF7 under a touch of woman principal Datin Seri Tiara j, rumors are now spread that AF8 will be conduct by a woman. There are three short listed wellknown ‘DIVA’, Dato’ Sheila Majid, Fauziah Dato’ Ahmad Daud and Zuraini Khalid.

Who will the ‘one’??? Let wait and see……

Akedemi Fantasia (season8) will be raising its curtains soon. While it’s too soon to speculate anymore about the show, the lingering question is, where, physically, will the academy be held this year?? After the end of the last season, the warehouse in Shah Alam which was home for four seasons was used for the failed ‘anak wayang’ programme. Word has it that Astro, who leased the warehouse, had decided to let it go. And since the premises was recycled for just about every show, wonder where the new season of raja lawak will be recorded, too.

AF5 Star Heliza was the among actress that shows there is no boundary for girl or woman wear scarf to success in entertainment industry. We can see her latest movie ‘Syurga Cinta’. Althought she so sweet wearing scarf, her sister seem doesn’t like her at all. So different… Let us compare it….

It is now the final of the AF7. The opening was made by the the shuffling.. Then, all the finalist sang the song Revolusi. What a wow performance by all the finalist.

The first performance will be made by Hafiz with the song Kau Bunga Cintaku. Before that, Din Beramboi take the stage with showing how to cover when wanted to terkucil… not so klakar MAK thinks. Hafiz performance, what happen to him, other of his performance before were much more better. Next, it is Akim with the new song, Bengang. MAK feels quite OK, but heard that this song was earlier made for Faizal Tahir. Is it true? Then, Yazid made his performance with his song Kasidah Cinta. But before that, Lisa Surihani made appearance as the photographer. Yazid performace, MAK gives average. Now, it is time for Isma to make his performance. Her new song is Bisikan dan Godaan. Made by his husband, Isma looks comfortable with the song and just playing safe. After all, his husband knows what best for her. Aril later made appearance with the song Kasih Tak Sampai, but before that, Adam comes into the stage, with Aril’s teddy bear. For MAK, the first round, the best performance goes to Aril.

Then, it is the performance from the audition survivor but do not make it into the academy named as AB, Amim, Kelana, Faezah & Cabby.

Now is the second round, Hafiz sings his new song Masih Jelas created by Aidit. This is the Hafiz that MAK, what a powerful vocal. Next, it is Akim. He performed Bencinta. A good performance! It’s getting harder to choose the champion. Yazid then take the stage with his new song Ya Pa Pa. The song suits with his voice. Now, it is Isma’s turn, with the song Cinta Adam Dan Hawa. An average performance for MAK. Last to perform, it is Aril with his new song Toksik. Something new, not always happened.

Now it is the performance from the other students who do not make it to the final which are Adila, Rini, Obri, Rubisa, Zizi, Sidi, Qhaud, Claudia & Aishah. Still strong performance…

Then, the AF6 champion, Stacy make her performance. No wonder she is the last champion, really can perform, not only her voice, but the move.. oh my God!

Lastly, the Menuju Puncak performance by the 5 finalist, followed up by the other ex-students..

Now, it is time for the result, the 5th place is Isma, the 4th place is Yazid, the 3rd place is Akim, the 2nd place is Aril and the champion is Hafiz… the most consistent performer…

Believe it or not, on this week, the 5 finalist of AF7 will make their last performance for the Final Concert of AF7. MAK will give same chances to all of them to emerge as the champion. Champion will be determined by so many criteria, which is believed to be totally based on SMS result. (That is what they claim, but who knows???)

On paper, if based on vocal only, MAK will give it to Hafiz, as his voice is totally outstanding. But, in terms of transformation, MAK have to give it to Yazid, where from a shy person, now Yazid transform to a better showman. If in terms of unique voice or MAK would say voice like our Datuk Siti, then it will be Isma. And lastly, in terms of performance, MAK will give it to both Akim & Aril.

So who will be the champion.. Let us just wait & see…

Despite of the rumors over AF7 being a scam, its 9th concert still runs smooth. For the opening, all the 4 still standing student give their performance together on a song ‘Lagenda’. After that, Isma was given a surprise, in conjunction with Mother’s Day, when 4 of her 5 children ware brought to the stage.

The first individual performance starts with Isma performing her Malay song Aku Pasti Datang. For MAK, it was an average performance. The performance was followed by Yazid with his English song Where The Street Have No Name. Performance quite ok for MAK. Next, it is Akim’s time with the English song, I’m Yours. ‘Cair’ MAK… The first round was closed with Hafiz performance with a Malay song Laskar Pelangi. Not the strongest from Hafiz.

The second round, again starts with Isma with an English song Hot & Cold. Again, MAK feels that the performance is average. Then, it is Yazid with a Malay song Aku Skandal. Hmmm.. also average performance for MAK. Next, it is Akim with his Malay song Larut. His 1st performance was far more better, but it is still good. Lastly, Hafiz with his English song, I believe I can Fly. This time Hafiz really showed what he is capable of giving.

Rather than normally announcing the students that will be dismissed, this time, AC Mizal announce the students that will be performed & they are Hafiz, Isma, Yazid & Akim. On top of that, the result of AFMasuk is…. Awoq… Aril…. Congrate.

Arghhh.. Is it true that the most watched & voted Reality Show, Akademi Fantasia 7 is a scam. After surfing the internet, MAK find this interesting video at YouTube. As all AF7 fanatics know, the Diari Int will be broadcasted the next day after concert & most probably, the shooting for it, at least will be done after the concert, as a summary of the concert. As usual, Sarimah will comment about the result & all the things that have happened on the night of the concert. But believe it or not, the YouTube has evidence otherwise!

Carefully look at the background, you will see a ‘yellow’ figure, & MAK believe, all who follow the concert will notice that the figure is Akim, making his performance or maybe doing his rehearsel. So, how come Sarimah can comment about the dismissal of Aishah & Claudia, on top of the announcement by Principal Tiara about AFMASUK. Can a comment being threw before it happened. There is only one answer. All of these are scam, and already being arranged.

But the actual scenario is still yet to be known. Maybe, the background is just the highlight of the ‘yesterday’s concert. Or maybe it is just a coincidence that a person is wearing the same yellow costume as what Akim wore for the concert. Who knows?

This is the 2nd & last chance for these ex-students to regain their trust over their fanatics.
