After a year of absense, now the reality show Akademi Al-Quran is back for the 4th season with a more promising finalist. Akademi Al-Quran 4 (AQ4) is scheduled to be on TV9 every Friday at 9pm, starting 21 May. The top 12 finalist of this reality show is consist of 2 female & 10 male;

After achieved suceess in AF7 under a touch of woman principal Datin Seri Tiara j, rumors are now spread that AF8 will be conduct by a woman. There are three short listed wellknown ‘DIVA’, Dato’ Sheila Majid, Fauziah Dato’ Ahmad Daud and Zuraini Khalid.

Iqbal Mazlan emerged as the Champion of Pilih Kasih after collecting the highest marks in total of 39.36% although achieved the lowest marks by SMS vote which is 0.36&. In other words, the winning was determined by the panel of jury who gave him the highest marks of 39%. Iqbal grab RM10,000 cash money, throphy, vacation package and scholarship on top of a Naza Suria car.

If you don’t succeed the first time, try and try again. A good example for this phrase is Emeer or full name is Mohd Emeer Iskandar Mohamad Bakri. After participating for quite a few reality program & contest, at last Emeer succeeded to be the champion for a reality show called Oo La La. For the record, Emeer has participated My Star LG, World Stars Road To Hollywood 2009, Bintang Kecil and more.

The 14 years old singer won RM30,000 on top of vacation ticket. He has outshined the other 2 finalist, Noor Shahida Jamaluddin (Sha) and Amira Syahida Mohd Hussin (Amira).

The final concert Mentor 3 started with all the ‘out already’ proteges performing the ‘Tunjuk Ajar Mu Sifu’ song. At the beginning of the concert, Elly did mentioned that all 3 finalist will make 3 performances consist of solo sing, duet with desired artist and performing first ever their own song.

The first to make performance is Black with solo. What a strong powerful high vocal from Black. His Mentor, Mas Idayu seems to enjoy his song. Next it is time for Fira. But before that, as agreed, Fira’s mentor, Lah Ahmad appeared with all new bald appearence. Fira is performing her new ever song. An ‘ok’ ‘ ok’ performance for MAK. After that, Ajai’s protege, Chaq make his solo performance. For MAK, Chaq seems could not carry the song.

Second round, it is Black with performance with the otai Rocker, Shamrin & Mus. Wow! What a performance! Fira then took the stage with One Nation Emcee. A happening performance. And next, it is Chaq with his all new song. For this song, MAK give an ‘ok’ perfromance. Maybe this his his real voice range.

The third round, Black with his first ever song. Again, high range vocal, but MAK really expected a ‘Rock’ song. Fira with her solo song, this time MAK feel that it is not he strongest vocal, because MAK see she more focus on performance. Chaq shows what he best do with a dance type of music.

Before the announcement of the champion, the Mentor 3 gave a ‘losers pool’ final with a Pop Yeh Yeh type of new generation, Amirul. Next to performance is Azmarul. MAK have to agree that he has a unique and powerful voice. And the winner of RM1,000 is Azmarul.

Now its time for the result. And the winner, as expected by majority.. it is Black. The second place is Chaq and the 3rd place is Fira.

Tonight is the last performance for the ‘Ella replacement’ (at least that’s what Awie tryng to produce), the 22 years old Keena in the Mentor3. The other top 2 performer, the consistent Black & the cute Thye managed to enter the semi final together with already qualified performer from Group A, Chaq and Fira. Seems that Keena got the lowest mark in the competition. To Black & Thye, congrate from MAK. To Keena & Awie, maybe it is not destine for you. The concert tonight also feature the twin look-a-like Fiq. Hehhehehe…

It is now over for EVO, under Jac as their total marks for 3 concerts is the lowest, slightly lower than the second place, Fira, if MAK not mistaken by 0.7. For the last concert, Fira emerge as the top performer with the highest score, maybe because of the magic by Faizal Tahir, when they duet together for the first song or maybe because of the on air show.. hehehe..

With EVO dismissal, now Chaq and Fira are through the semi final & next week, another 2 semi finalists will come from Group B.

At the start of the concert, Tomok was the lowest among the 3 finalist, behind Aweera & Esther. So, Tomok should be out. Unfortunately, lucky for him, the voters have decided that 3 finalist will perform for the final, instead of 2, with the percentage of 90%. With this last chance, Tomok has performed almost perfectly. And until the last song, he gained the second spot, behind Esther. After all completed the final concert, Tomok was announced as the Champion of OIAM3. We do agree that Tomok has outshined both Esther & Aweera.

Congratulation to Tomok. You are now a million richer than before.

Nampaknya One In A million musim ke-3 akan berakhir tidak lama lagi. Dan kali ini, kemungkinan 2 orang akan melangkah ke pusingan akhir OIAM3 ini. Namun, ia mungkin juga hanya dua. Siapakah pula yang akan menjadi Juara OIAM3 dan membawa RM1 juta. Banyak tuh… Mari kita tunggu & saksikannya..
